For personalized books, please place your order by the 8th of December. For anything other than personalized books, please place your order by the 15th of December for delivery before Christmas. Orders recieved after the 15th will be produced and dispatched as quickly as possible, but could be subject to postal and production delays. All orders received after the 17th December will delivered in January. Worldwide customers should allow for seasonal postal delays.
Heck no! While I do use a digital image for reference, I do not merely run your photo through a filter. A lot of time goes into each portrait. For a modern pop art portrait with a silk screen look - the computer is the perfect tool for smooth, flat colours and large halftone dots and colour matching is relatively easy.
For a more traditional portrait - most of the work needs to be done by hand. Large areas of colour are blocked in, and then detail is built up in layers. The final piece is stretched and a protective gloss coating finishes the canvas.
The computer allows a lot of flexibility in the creation of art, but it does not create the art. Compare other portrait sites, it's usually quite easy to spot a portrait that was computer generated in a few minutes and one that was meticulously done by a skilled artisan.
Our canvases are extremely durable and do not require special care. We do recommend displaying your canvas in a dry, temperature controlled location. You can use a feather duster or soft cloth to gently clean away dust that accumulates on your canvas.
We can fulfill most orders for wall art in four business days of less, although turn-around time may vary depending on the complexity of your order and/or the method of shipping you choose during checkout. If we anticipate your order taking longer than estimated, we will contact you.
Personalized books involve up to 26 images, printing and binding. They usually take two weeks to do.
Portraits usually take from one to two weeks to do.
Yes, we can create canvas art in custom sizes, up to 44" wide! Please contact us if you need something other than our standard sizes and we will make every effort to fulfill your special request.

Due to the personalized nature of our products, all Custom orders are non refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged. You will receive a pdf proof for your approval prior to it being printed.
We would like to make your shopping experience with us satisfying. If an item appears to be damaged when you receive it, we will provide another copy. Please follow the following instructions to facilitate a return:
• Please notify us at zuzucustomerservice@telus,net within 10 business days of receipt of order and we will give you a Return Authorization Number.
• Item must be recieved in NEW condition, with all tags/packaging attached.
• We must receive it within 10 business days from issuing the RAN, upon receipt of item, we will inspect it and issue the refund/exchange/store credit as requested.
• Shipping charges will not be refunded and are the responsibility of the customer.
Concept sketches are first done by hand and then final art is created on a Mac computer using several different software programs. Each book is personalized, digitally printed and hand bound. Canvas wall art, wall hangings and growth charts are output onto artist-quality canvas on an Epson Stylus Pro 9800 large format printer. Using Epson UltraChrome K3TM Ink Technology with 8-colour pigment-based inks it is UV resistant and will not fade for decades with normal care.
